GEOFF OGILVY WINS U.S. OPEN

by ThaOx | June 18th, 2006 | Comments Off
Geoff Ogilvy sat back and calmly watched as Phil Mickelson crashed and burned by incurring his only double-bogey of the entire tournament… on the very last hole of the tournament. Ouch!!! That monstrous collapse handed the U.S. Open trophy to Ogilvy, as he finished on top with a total score of 285, five strokes over par for the … Read More Read More

Ogilvy Finishes at +5; Mickelson Under Pressure

by ThaOx | June 18th, 2006 | Comments Off
Geoff Ogilvy went Par on the final hole to put nothing but serious pressure on Phil Mickelson. As for Mickelson, he just hit a sand banker shot for Par way, way, way past the hole into the rough. If he doesn’t make the extremely difficult bogey shot, the Open belongs to Ogilvy. Check it out!!! Read More Read More

by ThaOx | June 18th, 2006 | Comments Off
Colin Montgomerie, in contention after the 17th hole, double-bogeyed the final hole to fall out of contention for the title, while Phil Mickelson hit a terrible tee shot on the final one. That gave Geoff Ogilvy an opportunity to force this U.S. Open to a playoff, as he stands at +5 getting ready to Par… while the leader Mickelson … Read More Read More

The final hole of the U.S. Open is now available for wagering. We asked back when Hells Bells (Hole 16) was open if any of these two would make Par. Well, Montgomerie hit a nice approach to eventually make Par. Singh did the same, and both remain where they did previous… at +5 and +7 overall respectively. Good luck, everyone!! by The Calculator | June 18th, 2006 | Comments Off
Park Ji-Sung scored in the 80th minute as Korea rallied for a draw in Liepzig and took control of Group G at the World Cup. For much of the game, France looked to be in control after Thierry Henry scored in the eighth minute. The French, who opened with an embarrassing scoreless draw against Switzerland, must beat Togo on Friday to … Read More Read More

The U.S. Open: Singh/Montgomerie - Well Well (Hole 17) - Par 4 - 449 yards

by ThaOx | June 18th, 2006 | Comments Off
With just two holes left, it looks like the winner will be made on the final hole… if we don’t go to a playoff. After 15, Montgomerie still sits at +5 after missing another fairly-close putt, but can still grab the title being tied for second overall. Singh remains two shots back at +7, going Par as well, and it’s … Read More Read More

The U.S. Open: Singh/Montgomerie - Pyramids (Hole 15) - Par 4 - 416 yards

by ThaOx | June 18th, 2006 | Comments Off
I kinda dig the name of this hole… Pyramids. Sounds funky :) On 13, Singh literally put a putt on the corner of the hole, but not in… to bogey. He is now at +6… a costly mistake. Montgomerie went Par on the hole and remains at +4 and in contention for the title. The curse of the Pyramids … Read More Read More
