Even though Republicans frown upon casinos — that doesn't stop them from asking, "Hey man, can I have some of that sweet casino cash?"
Yes, three of Las Vegas' biggest casino moguls are meeting with Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain to basically shower him in casino chips for his campaign.
Steve Wynn, MGM Grand CEO Terry Lanni, Republican media consultant Sig Rogich, Las Vegas Sands chairman Sheldon Adelson and Sands CEO William Weidner are hosting the event.
Whales who contribute $33,100 will get a special "roundtable private discussion" with McCain at Rogich's swanky pad. Other high-rollers must pay a minimum of $1,000 to attend the main luncheon, $2,300 for a photo with McCain, and $10,000 to attend a VIP reception. All proceeds will go to "McCain Victory 2008."
When ABCNews.com inquired about the fundraiser, a McCain spokesperson said, "We don't talk about fundraisers."
