Both brands have released new editions of their “smart phones” in an attempt to win over the market share until the next technology hits the shelves. It’s a battle to provide the best features to customers, so casino game software providers are creating smart phone compatible games as fast as they can.

The games that are released will play a roll in the popularity of one phone over another. iPhone games are written in Objective-C, a programming language common to Apple users. Blackberry apps are written in the popular Java programming language, so a game designed for iPhone will not work on the Blackberry and vice-versa. The phone with the better casino games will be more appealing to gamers. That could yield millions of customers one way or another.
