Sands Pennsylvania Casino Hiring 1,000 Workers

The economic crunch hasn't hit everyone – and a new casino and resort in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is looking to hire 1,000 workers. While many companies are announcing layoffs, Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem is seeking hired help – and already 3,400 applicants have answered the call. The company says they expect about 10,000 applications. Check out their job postings.

The Express-Times reports, "The casino company's employment center opens Monday at Northampton Community College's Fowler Family Southside Center on East Third Street. People can apply at one of the center's 34 computers or on any computer with Internet access. Sands is looking to hire employees for casino operations, food and beverage, entertainment, security, information technology, administration and other fields."
