However, Bodog Casino player Zachary M. decided to bet the extra buck, and it paid off… huge. He hit the Royal Flush and won $159,000.

“I've been playing [Let ‘Em Ride] a little while and when I hit the jackpot I couldn’t believe it,” the California native said.

“I was very excited.”

Luckily he decided to let that extra dollar ride this time. He’s hit a royal flush before, but didn’t make the extra bet.

“It hurt,” Zachary said. “That’s why you can’t be afraid to go big and always make the side bet.”

With over 150 grand on the way Zachary plans on doing what anyone 150K richer would do, and he may even use the rest to try his luck at another card game).

“I'd like to take a vacation. And I'd like to enter the World Series of Poker tournament.”
