For four weeks in a row now, The Dark Knight has reigned supreme at the box office, topping Pineapple Express as the highest grossing movie of the weekend.
Christian Bale, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger combined for a brilliant performance that continues to dominate any of its competition.
Nearly an entire month after its release the Dark Knight grossed $26M, giving it a total of a whopping $442M.
Just below the latest Batman reincarnation was stoner-friendly flick Pineapple Express. Seth Rogan and James Franco team up as a pair of potheads on the run after Rogan's character Dale Denton witnesses a murder.
The Pineapple Express garnered $22.4M in its debut.
In third place was last week's runner up, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor with $16.1M while The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2 and Step Brothers rounded out the top five.
