A raging fire demolished rapper 50 Cent's Long Island, NY home. The house had been the source of a bitter battle between 50 Cent and the mother of his son, Shaniqua Tompkins - and the fire department is calling the blaze, "highly suspicious."
According to TMZ, 50 Cent (whose real name is Curtis Jackson) had repeatedly tried to evict Tompkins from his crib. A court ruled in his favor, but Tompkins was allowed to stay until the end of their 10-year-old son's school year.
However, the fighting between the two had become so volatile, one of 50 Cent's entourage trashed Tompkin's lawyer's office — and yesterday, their deposition had to be held at State Supreme Court for security reasons. The couple were also caught on camera fighting in the streets after the trashing of her lawyer's office. TMZ has the video.
There were six people in the home when the fire broke out, including Tompkins and their 10-year-old son Marquise. All six were taken to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation. So far, no suspects have been named in the blaze.
