They had to wait in anticipation just like everyone else. As a veteran 90210 fan that grew up with the original show, I immediately fell in love with this new spin off within the first 5 minutes. Critics can hate all they want, it's just one person's opinion, a number of the critics aren't even the target audience, and some of them clearly never watched the original series. The ratings speak for themselves. All that matters is what the fans think, for every 1 person that didn't like it, there are like 20 people who love it. I never understood why being a critic was a job, they are just being paid to give their opinion, which is no more important than anyone else's. I'm hooked on the show and can't get enough, none of the other CW shows can even hold a candle to this. It truly is great to be back in Beverly Hills, back with some of the characters that defined and entire decade.
