In a reality television dominated world, these days sitcoms have a relatively short-lived lifespan. However The Office has gained a serious following because audiences will always laugh when lovable moron Michael Scott utters those four little words: "That's what she said."

Yes, the people who brought you the show that makes your body contort into a cringe every Thursday night is looking to cash in further on their little gold-mine of comedy. Specific details as to how they will go about this are unclear, but producers have made their first hire for the spinoff, Aziz Ansari of MTV's sketch comedy Human Giant.

Variety reports that the show could potentially be a "planted spinoff," in which characters are first introduced on "The Office" before moving on to the new series.
