Former American Idol contestant Corey Clark was arrested today on drug charges and an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court for a previous arrest.
Clark, who was once rumored to be sexually involved with Idol host Paula Abdul, was nipped by the law in North Little Rock, Ark. and is alleged to have had illegal party favors and drug paraphernalia on hand (read: weed).
It is not the first public fumble for the American Idol second-season finalist, as he was given the boot from the show for failing to reveal his arrest for battery against his teenage sister and the fact he was sued previously by both Wal-Mart and Topeka Grocery store for passing bad checks.
According to the Springdale Morning News, a bond of $25,000 was set for the 27-year-old Mount Juliet, Tenn resident and police agreed to hold Clark in North Little Rock for up to 15 days while the extradition process to Arizona gets underway.
