The eight contestants who got a second shot at American Idol fame from the judges at the end of Wednesday night's show thought they were fighting for the final three spots in the top 12, but in a surprise reveal at the end of last night's show, Anoop Desai, who thought he'd been outed in favor of the Justin Timberlakesque Matt Giraud, found out that the top 12 would actually be a top 13 and he was still in.

One thing we can breathe a sigh of relief over is the fact that we won't have to suffer through Tatiana Del Toro's relentless emotional gimmicks. Last night, the 24-year-old Puerto Rican trainwreck all of a sudden developed a much thicker accent Thursday night, singing once again Whitney Houston's "Saving All My Love for You."

When pressed about her accent switch-up, Del Toro said it creeps back when she's "emotional" (umm, isn't she always emotional?) That led to a weird exchange with Simon Cowell about song choice as well as an awkward blow job reference, courtesy of Ryan Seacrest (don't ask).

Jasmine Murray earned herself a spot in the top 13 by hitting all high notes “Reflection." Simon gushed about her "brave" choice of song, and Kara commented on Murray's "really big voice." Megan Corkrey also made it through after swiveling her hips to "Black Horse & the Cherry Tree" by KT Tunstall.
