American Idol's Clay Aiken Welcomes Baby Son

Former American Idol contestant Clay Aiken welcomed his first child with 50-year-old platonic baby mama Jaymes Foster on Friday morning, reports People magazine. Foster gave birth to Parker Foster Aiken at 8:08 a.m. in a North Carolina hospital.

"He's here," Aiken writes on his website. "My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)

"Wow… 8:08… 08/08/08," Aiken added. "The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also."

Foster, reportedly became pregnant with Aiken's baby through in vitro fertilization. The two met while Aiken was competing on American Idol. Foster is the sister of legendary music producer David Foster.
