Troubled songstress Amy Winehouse was scheduled for a gig in London to celebrate 50 years of Island Records. However, as in usual Winehouse fashion, she canceled. Her management issued a statement saying she and her band would be missing the performance and failed to provide any explanations, only apologies.

A statement released by Winehouse's management said they "regretfully announced that Amy and her band will no longer be performing at Shepherd's Bush Empire on 31 May. Amy would like to apologise to her fans who bought tickets for the shows."

The gig was supposed to be Amy's first U.K. performance in a year and she was to appear alongside Toots and the Maytals and I Blame Coco. Winehouse is currently working on her third album in St. Lucia.
