The McCain campaign has been hit with yet another blow. The Anchorage Daily News, one of Alaska's largest newspapers, just announced its endorsment of Barack Obama, turning their back on their own governor Sarah Palin. Although the newspaper said they were "proud to see their governor, and their state, so prominent on the national stage," Palin being one step away from the presidency was just "too risky" and that Obama "brings far more promise to the office".
Moreover, "[John McCain] embraces the extreme Republican orthodoxy he once resisted and cynically asks Americans to buy for another four years", the paper said.
