Antifungal Drug Causes Man to See Chewbacca

We all need a little extra Chewbacca in our lives. Now that's possible with a fantastic new side effect of an antifungal drug.

 

The drug company Pfizer recently stated that the second quarter worldwide sales for its antifungal drug "Vfend" is up 23% to 145 million.

Perhaps some of the sales of the drug came about after the scientific conference in Chicago last week in which a researcher presented results that showed 12% of people who take Vfend hallucinate. He even gave a specific example of a man who takes the drug and sees Chewbacca.

That's right, there's a drug out there that may or may not provide you with one of the coolest hallucinatory sidekicks imaginable.

No word yet on whether Tonto, Barney Rubble, Silent Bob or Paul Shaffer have been seen yet.
