After Ashlee Simpson announced she and boyfriend Pete Wentz were engaged, the news that the young couple is now expecting a child together has surfaced.

Simpson, 23, has been dating fiancé Pete Wentz, 28 since 2006.

Simpson's father, who saw his eldest daughter, Jessica, married off and then divorced to ex-boy bander Nick Lachey, is a former minister. He might not be pleased.
