Avril Lavigne to Launch Clothing Line Abbey Dawn

The world's most annoying "punk rocker," Avril Lavigne is set to launch her own clothing line called Abbey Dawn. The 23-year-old singer will be partnering up with Kohl's stores nationwide to launch a line for tweens inspired by her own "tastes," reports US magazine.

"It's rock glam: fun, colorful, young and edgy," Lavigne told US. "Everything is fit to be sexy and flattering."

According to the magazine, Abbey Dawn, which will launch in July and see new pieces added to the collection every nine weeks, will include "skater-girl-chic" style hoodies, jeans, T-shirts and "skull and zebra patterns."

As for what Lavigne's Sum 41 frontman husband, Deryck Whibley, thinks of her new endeavors? "He's excited," she told US. "He likes everything I like!"

    I am in love with Avril Lavigne. I would love for all of the girls in my school to dress like her. Go Avril!!

    Hi!

    I have an Avril Lavigne blog and did some searching around for the origin of Avril's "Abbey Dawn" nickname and am pretty sure I found it!

    It was a sanctuary created by a famous Canadian poet not far from Napanee, Ontario (Avril's hometown) that was a gathering place for creative people like writers, poets and musicians. :)

    hey Avril i lve your new line but i cant seem to fing the hot pink hoodie with little ears i saw it on access hollywood and imediately went online to check out your clothing line at kohls.com but i didnt fing it there so i searched online and still cant seem to find it…. please email back im a huge fan
