Band Claims 'Idol' David Cook Ripped Arrangement

On last night's American Idol, David Cook wowed the judges with his rockin' arrangement of Lennon-McCartney song "Eleanor Rigby." However, now a band named DOXOLOGY has come forward, saying Cook ripped their arrangement that is featured on their MySpace page. We at The Beat must admit, the two versions sound pretty similar.

The band's manager told TMZ that the band does not intend to sue, but that they want the cred they deserve.

Cook currently has 8/1 odds at becoming the next American Idol. Place your bets in the Bodog Sportsbook.

    If that's the case then Doxology (whoever they are) need to give credit to Thrice…who they probably ripped their arrangement from.
