Bet on John McCain's VP Running Mate

Republican presidential candidate John McCain is studying his shortlist of running mates.

Mitt Romney (2/1) is a contender who has enjoyed successful fund-raising appearances for McCain is high on the list. Former Republican governor Jeb Bush (100/1) is moving down the list as his last name may put off many voters. Joe Lieberman (15/1) has served as McCain's right-hand-man throughout the campaign and has worked closely with McCain on Iraq policy as well as environmental issues.

At the end of the list sits former governor Mike Huckabee (7/2) of Arkansas, who made waves at the beginning of the race and is a familiar name in the political world, signing with Fox News Channel as a political commentator.
