Beverly Hills 90210

The CW is developing a contemporary spin-off of 1990s high school drama Beverly Hills, 90210.

The kids of West Beverly are back. And although they might be middle-aged now, who knows whether producers will again try to pass them off as high school kids. Yes, kids of the '90's the CW is trying to cash in on the fame and fortune Beverly Hills 90210 accrued and create a spin-off show.

Details are not yet avaiable and it is not known whether any of the original cast will make a transition onto the new show — as much of the cast was unable to maintain the superstardom they enjoyed on the show. What are David Silver and Donna Martin up to these days? Here's the skinny:

Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders) and Jennie Garth (Kelly Taylor) made appearances on Dancing with the Stars. Shannon Doherty (Brenda Walsh) found fame on a successful show Charmed, but later quit the show and was replaced by Rose McGowen. She later reclaimed fame by punching Tara Reid at a nightclub. Luke Perry (Dylan McKay) had a role on the short-lived series Windfall. Jason Priestley (Brandon Walsh) also had a roll on the ill-fated show, Love Monkey. Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea Zuckerman) was on The Surreal Life (ouch) and has had guest starring roles on NYPD Blue and Nip/Tuck. She also injured her face on the set of a made-for-TV movie (ouch again). Tori Spelling (Donna Martin) has recently come out with a book and enjoyed success with her reality show Tori and Dean: Inn Love. However, Brian Austin Green (David Silver) wins. He is dating hottie Megan Fox.
