Legend has it, Prince performed with Beyonce in 2004 and was certain she took on an alter ego named Sasha Fierce when she was on stage. Beyonce adopted the name and has come out with a new album entitled, "I Am Sasha Fierce."

Beyonce's alter ego apparently combats her nerves during performances, interviews and photo shoots.

Beyonce told Giant magazine, "That night with Prince, I was just in a trance. I don't remember anything after I walked through the smoke onstage. I was definitely Sasha Fierce that night, completely free."

Today, Beyonce released her latest music video for the hit Diva, which is now online.
