While we at the Beat aren’t afraid to open ourselves to the possibilities of things like previously undiscovered, clever ape-men living in North America, this whole scenario reeks of a hoax – especially since there’s a youtube video of them admitting to it being a Bigfoot hoax – sort of. They claim it’s a hoax while at the same time saying that they really do have a Bigfoot body in a freezer. What are they admitting to exactly? Check out the video and tell us what you think.

Whitton’s brother in the above video pretended to be the scientist in this video. Is that the hoax they are talking about? If so, why did they do it? If it’s all a hoax, why would they do any of it?

That leads us to the next person involved in today’s Bigfoot press conference, Tom Biscardi. Biscardi apparently came into this after the fact when local press were reporting on Whitton’s discovery. According to a new site claiming that the Georgia Bigfoot is a Hoax, Tom Biscardi has a reputation among the cryptozoology community for being a Bigfoot conman.

What’s the truth of it all? Well, if only we could say that we’d know for sure after the Bigfoot press conference today but sadly, that’s unlikely to be the case. As many skeptics have suggested what we are likely to see is a couple unknown scientists who say what they’ve been paid to say, some monkey DNA and a few photos of a gorilla costume in a cooler with some animal guts splashed around for effect.
