Despite tremendous success at the box office, Miley Cyrus' 3-D concert movie, Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Tour, has fallen under some controversy this week. Some punk noticed that Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter forgot to wear their seatbelts during a scene in a moving car, and they tattled.
Actually, it was the editors at Consumer Reports that took note of the lack of seatbelt in the car, according to People. And they made a big stink. "It seems to us that Miley, her father, and Disney had a perfect opportunity to help influence teens and counteract - rather than encourage - this trend," said the editors. "Then again, as Hannah herself sings, 'Everybody makes mistakes.'"
Now, the Disney star and her country singer dad are trying to make things right… for the kids. "We got caught up in the moment of filming, and we made a mistake and forgot to buckle our seatbelts," Billy Ray told People magazine. "Seatbelt safety is extremely important."
So, kids, buckle up! Billy Ray said so!
