Bodog Music Battle of the Bands Eliminates 'Leroy Smokes'

On Bodog Music Battle of the Bands, funk/hip-hop band Leroy Smokes was the first of the top ten bands to be eliminated from the tour.
With a history of constantly changing musicians, funk/hip-hop band Leroy Smokes has endured a tumultuous music career. However, they claim the drama actually helped to shape their sound. With lyrics that express blue-collar struggles and political issues, Leroy Smokes is now a strong and stable seven-man ensemble who told Bodog "We have a solid live show like no other" along with "…virtuoso musicians as well as world-class vocalists and business minds, all in the same package."
However, the dream for the $1-million recording contract with Bodog Music ended on Wednesday night's episode of Bodog Music Battle of the Bands as Leroy Smokes was eliminated by judges Johnny Rotten, Bif Naked and Billy Duffy, who complained that the 7-member band was "faceless."

Since 2006, Leroy Smokes has consisted of Buss-One and B. Rukus on vocals, Friendly Fred on keyboards and vocals, J. Skillz on guitar and vocals, Highstyle Kyle on trumpet and flugelhorn, Hashbrown on bass, and Nic Woods on Drums.
