The oh-so-crafty Martha Stewart can't glue gun her way out of this one. Apparently, the British have turned their noses up at Stewart and have denied her entry into the country because of her felony conviction four years ago.

Stewart was planning to speak at the Royal Academy as well as meet with the names of fashion and leisure, however the Brits believe Stewart is "not conducive" to the public good.

A government official said, "We continue to oppose the entry to the UK of individuals where we believe their presence in the United Kingdom is not conducive to the public good or where they have been found guilty of serious criminal offenses abroad. It is a bit silly given some of the other people allowed into the country."

A spokesperson for Stewart said, "Martha loves England and hopes this can be resolved and that she will be able to visit soon."

Stewart was convicted in 2004 for lying to federal investigators in an investigation into insider trading.
