After being rushed to the hospital Thursday night and spending two nights there, troubled former pop princess Britney Spears has left the building.

Around 7 a.m., four police officers escorted the Britster out of Cedar Sinai via an underground tunnel. She's apparently headed to her Studio City home rather than her lavish Beverly Hills pad, where all the drama unfolded Thursday.

Before she checked out, Britney got an unexpected visit by her psych bedside – Dr. Phil!

Yes, Mr. McGraw is putting together a Britney show and paid a visit to the out of control mother of two.

After he left, Brit Brit pitched a fit and demanded to be released. Despite reports that she would stay for 72 hours, the hospital decided that there was no reason to keep her.
