Yes, if you thought the drama was over — at least for a little while — think again. Britney Spears was released from the hospital yesterday and she didn't go quietly.

According to reports, rather than going home to chill, Britney hit the town to stir up the usual paparazzi frenzy. Spears then went to the Beverly Hills hotel with her paparazzo boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib and her father Jamie Spears, distraught over the fact that she was no longer under medical care, was in hot pursuit.

Police arrived at the hotel and gathered with Jamie in the lobby. Around 9:30 pm, Jamie Spears, along with hotel security, entered Britney and Adnan's room.

The conservatorship Jamie holds over Britney may give him the right to approve contracts Britney signs as well as purchases she makes. TMZ reports that Jamie will probably go to court to enforce the conservatorship, meaning Britney won't be allowed to get hotel rooms or make purchases without Jamie's consent. If hotels defy this order, they could be held in contempt.

The following statement was released to CNN's Anderson Cooper by Jamie and Lynne Spears:

"As parents of an adult child in the throws (sic) of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted."
