Britney Spears & Will Ferrell NASCAR's newest & biggest fans

For his role as NASCAR driver Ricky Bobby in "Talladega Nights", Will Ferrell trained at the same track pop star Britney Spears frequents.

Ferrell recently told BANG Showbiz: "Britney had driven a car at the same place where I was training for the driving sequences for the film and had come in with a test lap of 123 miles an hour. I beat her by almost ten miles an hour so I was deliriously happy."

Ferrell also told BANG that no, Britney did not complete her laps with baby Sean Preston on her lap.

"Oh no. That would have been way too dangerous," Ferrell said. "The baby was attached to the back of the car I believe, just taped onto the back. It's good to clear that up though."

Who knew Britney was so into NASCAR? And speaking of NASCAR, the Chase for the Nextel Cup is on and Bodog's got the odds on the favorites to win. Jimmie Johnson is listed at 3/1 odds to win, as is Matt Kenseth. Kevin Harvick is the favorite at 5/2 odds to win NASCAR's Nextel Cup.
