Carrie Underwood Leaves Election to the Voters

Carrie Underwood talked to the TV Guide recently and said some stuff that might piss off most of Hollywood's biggest power players, like Oprah! Underwood claims that she loses respect for celebrities who endorse political candidates and she may have a point. Why are Americans so celebrity obsessed that they have to look to celebrities to sway their political views?

Underwood said, "There is someone I do support, but I don't support publicly. I lose all respect for celebrities when they back a candidate. It's saying that the American public isn't smart enough to make their own decisions – music is where you go to get away from all the BS."
