Reportedly, the reason why Christian Bale and his family got into a brawl was because his sister requested £100,000 (roughly $200,000) and when he denied her, she insulted his wife. It went down something like that, anyway.

The Sun is reports, "Legal sources told The Sun the women said sister Sharon needed £100,000 to help her bring up her three children. They said Bale, 34, snubbed the plea and a row flared in his suite at the Dorchester Hotel in London’s West End. Welsh-born Bale was alleged to have 'pushed and shoved' mum Jenny, 61, and Sharon, 41. Both Jenny and Sharon are terribly upset over what happened. They did not want any publicity and the last thing they wanted to do was wreck his premiere evening. But they say he bullied them."

Apparently Bale's sister Sharon works in computer programming, has two daughters from a previous marriage and a baby from a new relationship. But c'mon on now. Since when has a computer programmer "borrowed" and "returned" $200K? No wonder he pushed 'em. That was a joke. Batman doesn't push. Well, only if he's ambushed for cash on one of the biggest nights of his career.
