Christina Aguilera Turns Down Britney Spears

So it seems that Christina Aguilera was offered front row tickets to a Britney Spears concert and laughed hysterically before replying with a definite "no thanks."

The Examiner.com reports that a source close to Aguilera says that "Christina thinks that Britney is all style, no substance." Adding that "she thinks the only reason that Britney came back is because people felt very sorry for her."

Do you feel sorry for Britney? We here at the Beat absolutely do not feel sorry for the mother of two. Not even a little. When she shaved her head we laughed our asses off. When she hooked up with that photographer we laughed even harder. And when she came out with her "Circus" album we gasped, gagged and then laughed.

Christina Aguilera, on the other hand, can sing. The girl has a serious set of pipes and further proof of that is the news that for her upcoming album she'll be hooking up with artists Goldfrapp, Ladytron and Le Tigre.

See now that's cool. Britney Spears? So not cool.
