Conan O’Brien was injured when he hit his head while taping a stunt for The Tonight Show on Friday. O'Brien was taken to a nearby hospital for observation and released shortly after and was luckily able to laugh off the incident.

NBC issued the statement saying that Mr. O’Brien had “hit his head doing a stunt and the show was not finished.”

"Last thing I remember I was enjoying the play with Mrs. Lincoln, and the next thing I knew I was in bed being served cookies and juice," Conan joked.

As a result of the incident, a Tonight Show repeat episode aired on Friday night. One staff member on the show commented that O’Brien will likely he would be back to work on Monday.
