Courtney Love Calls Guitar Hero's Kurt Cobain Avatar 'Rape'

When she's not in a heroin balloon coma, Courtney Love is steaming pissed at Guitar Hero for creating an avatar in the likeness of her late husband, legendary Nivana rocker, Kurt Cobain. However, the good people over at Guitar Hero say that Courtney might be too wasted to know what's what, as she was the one who signed over the rights. Love threatened to "sue the shit" out of Guitar Hero after she saw Kurt Cobain's image in the video game.

Courtney Twittered: "not in twenty JILLION years would i EVER have allowed this and this islethal."

Then she said: "we get NO money for this, travesty, Frances gets NO money for the rape."

Guitar Hero responded with: "Guitar Hero secured the necessary licensing rights from the Cobain estate in a written agreement signed by Courtney Love to use Kurt Cobain's likeness as a fully playable character in Guitar Hero® 5."

Hello? Earth to Courtney. Put down the crack pipe and read what you sign. It's like selling your child into slavery and then screaming when they force it to start making Nikes.

Nivana's two other members, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl said in a joint statement that they were "dismayed and very disappointed" that an avatar of Cobain could be used to play songs by other artists. Grohl and Novoselic have been fighting Courtney for years over the rights to their former band, which she seems to now own – and makes a "jillion" dollers selling out. In 2002, Novoselic and Grohl filed a legal motion for Love to undergo a psychiatric evaluation as they all battled over the rights to unreleased Nirvana music. Grohl also called Love an “ugly fucking bitch” at a show.

    i think that krist and dave are right, it is wrong to see a avitar of kur, being able to play as him and playing other peoples songs is a little fucked up! but at the same time i think it's about time people are starting to reconize kurt after 15 loong fucking years, into games, and even the bitch courten was thinking of making a movie of kurt, if it is done, charles l cross should be one of the producers. because he really knew alot about kurt, so he would have a good idea of how kur(the actor) should respond in the movie to make it seem more like kurt, if you know what i mean? well overall in personal opinion, i think its awesome kurt's on guitar hero, jus what krist and dave said about singing other artists songs, is probably dissturbing for them to see that, probably thinking he should only play his nirvana songs on guitar hero.
