David Hasselhoff was reportedly taken to the hospital this weekend due to alcohol poisoning with a staggering blood-alcohol level of .39. Some news sources say that his 16-year-old daughter was slapping his face and that he was barely breathing. He was driven to the hospital by his estranged ex, Pamela Bach, who stayed by his bedside.

However, TMZ is saying they have the real story – and that the tales of an inebriated, unconscious Hoff are just not true. According to their reports, Hasselhoff was at home with his daughter Hayley and had been drinking but nowhere near the level that his ex is painting it. The Hoff had not been feeling well, and the alcohol intensified his symptoms so he went to the hospital. Contrary to reports, he was no unconscious. TMZ says he walked on his own power and was released yesterday.

TMZ claims that Bach padded the story, saying, "Bottom line — David's ex, Pamela Bach, is on the warpath and her story just doesn't ring true."
