DeAnna Pappas Rejects Jason Mesnick

The finale of the Bachelorette was an emotional one. This finale, however, was not met without some serious heartache. And by heartache, let's just say it was one of the saddest rejections ever due to the sheer niceness of Jason Mesnick (along with the fact that he was totally blindsided). After weeks and weeks of intense true love, Jason (whose ex-wife previously left him for another man) was so sure he'd won DeAnna Pappas' heart, he actually got down on his knee to propose while us viewers at home grimaced… chuckled… then grimaced some more.

Realizing that he'd suddenly dropped to his knees and was about to pop the question, DeAnna quickly blurted, "No, I can't," and grabbed his arm to pull him up. Jason's jaw tightened and he braced himself for the inevitable rejection speech.

DeAnna told Jason that she would be the luckiest person in the world to be with him, but that she was in love with someone else. In the limo, a shell-shocked Jason clutched the unopened engagement ring box and remarked, "The only sure thing I have is my little boy."

    Well hats off to you Jason you are a strong person and kind I think any lady who gets you will have a fairytale life with you and DeAnna will be hurt again I don't see it working with Jesse I know see looks at him very differnt and she defened him very much with her family and believe it or not the family wanted Jason and she new that and she did just the opposite and her dad already knew who she picked Jason asked her dad for her in marriage and he gave his okay and Jesse she had to tell him go and ask her father that tell me alot about Jesse he a kid and she will be the boss in the house. Jason we will find you someone special and I do believe God have a special someone for you just whole on DeAnna is going to wish she picked you believe me Take Care Jason and look for the stars and believe that everything happen for a reason. love Jennifer From TX
