If Dr. Phil would have only thought like a psychologist rather than a TV personality hungrily trying to exploit a pop star's mental illness — things might have gone better.
Now, after Britney Spears' family publicly denounced the TV shrink, Phil is feeling the searing burn of backlash. According to the New York Daily News, Phil is trying to snag some celebrities for his 1,000 episode, but since the whole Britney disaster—wherein the TV shrink stormed the hospital room of the bi-polar pop star—no one is biting.
