Last night's performance by American Idol alum Fantasia Barrino was theatrical, intense, over-the-top and… dare we say it… kinda cool?

The performance immediately put Idol fans in a frenzy. Was she brilliant or had completely lost her mind? We at Bodog Beat still can't decide. We're leaning towards "brilliant."

What her outlandish performance did do however was make ousted Idol Sayesha Mercado's performances look like child's play.

When the camera cut to Simon Cowell he looked very, very confused.
