Anne Hathaway, who once starred in The Princess Diaries, now has some real-life diary drama to contend with.

After her ex, Raffaello Follieri, was arrested for swindling a bunch of money from investors, the FBI now wants access to Hathaway's private musings. Fox news reports that along with Hathaway's diaries, FBI agents confiscated photos of Follieri with Bill and Hillary Clinton, Pope John Paul II and John and Cindy McCain, watches, a Tiffany clock, an antique Bible and personal photos of Follieri and Hathaway.

A former FBI agent William Daly, who is not involved in the case, told Access Hollywood that this doesn’t necessarily implicate Hathaway.

“This diary may provide [a] peek into day-to-day activities — where they were, people they met,” Daly said. “Even if it doesn’t directly comment on his scams, it may give investigators more leads.”

Follieri is reportedly not doing well in jail and has suffered an anxiety attack.
