Boyle will fly to Los Angeles for her appearance next week.

"She's excited and happy," her brother, John Boyle, told People magazine. "She loves America and loves the people. She appreciates their honesty."

Boyle's upcoming album, I Dreamed A Dream, will hit stores Nov. 24.

"It was my greatest ambition to release an album and I have finally achieved it," Boyle said. "This amazing journey has helped me find my own identity and fulfill my wish. There is happiness out there for everyone who dares to dream."

In her opening monologue called, “Monologue Song (La La La)” 19-year-old Swift played the guitar and sang about her enemies.

Taylor sang, "You might think I’d bring up Joe [Jonas], that guy who broke up with me on the phone, but I’m not gonna mention him in my monologue. Hey Joe, I’m doing real well. Tonight, I’m hosting SNL but I’m not gonna brag about that in my monologue. La la la. Ha ha ha. La la la.”

She also addressed Kanye, "You might be expecting me to say something bad about Kanye [West] and how he ran up on stage and ruined my VMA monologue. But there’s nothing more to say."

“My hairdresser was halfway through giving me ‘The Rachel’ when his blowdryer exploded on the back of my head,” Swift said.

MTV reports that Swift had told SNL writers that they could do whatever they wanted and that everything and everyone was fair game.

"I want to look nothing like myself," Taylor had previously told MTV News. "I told all the writers, 'Don't count anything out.' I want to go completely, 100 percent in. I don't want to be halfway involved. Just because I have a lot of things to do as far as being musical guest and host doesn't mean I don't want to live up to my full hosting demands."

Aussies was flabbergasted when famous singer Britney Spears showed up to their country and charged them a butt load of money to see her not sing. Apparently, they didn't get the memo that in America, you don't have to have much talent to become hugely successful. Hundreds of fans walked out after three songs, complaining that they got nothing for the $200 they spent on tickets.

Fans complained that giant screens failed to show Britney, which they believe to be a ploy to hide her lip-syncing – and they also said she had her back to the audience for most of the show.

Virginia Judge, the Minister for Fair Trading for New South Wales is now taking steps so that Britney fans know what they're buying when they purchase Britney Spears' concert tickets.

"It is Britney's 'prerogative' to lip-sync, and it is my job to make sure consumers know what they are paying for up front," says Judge in a statement released by the Aussie government.

Hasselhoff showed up in, well, we guess "rare form" isn't the right phrase here. How about "usual form"? So let's try this again, shall we? David Hasselhoff showed up in usual form to the European Music Awards in Berlin and delivered a speech that could only be delivered by someone who had a mouth full of marbles. Or he was drunk off his ass. We're guessing Hasselhoff was the latter.

Yes, Hasselhoff was waaaasssted (like a rock star should be), only he's not really a rock star – although he is in Germany and it's no secret that those crazy Germans do consider him somewhat of a rock God.

Like a true martyr, Hasselhoff walked onstage to “Looking for Freedom,” and since he was in the city where the Berlin Wall fell, he reassured the audience that he really wasn't responsible for the end of the Cold War. Thanks, Hasselhoff – guess they'll have to rewrite those history books.

It will be interesting to see how Hasselhoff's people explain this one. Perhaps he had a cold sore and reacted badly to the medication. Maybe he was jet lagged and also had a bad piece of cheesecake. Maybe he was exhausted from all the traveling and also had a reaction to the hairspray fumes. Whatever the explanation, it won't be "Hasselhoff downed a bottle of Wild Turkey and then took some Xanex and ludes to get rid of the nasty taste in his mouth," which is probably closer to the truth.

If you've been following the Rihanna interview on Good Morning America, you'll realize that Chris Brown is a scumbag and Rihanna seems pretty grounded – even though she did go back to him after her severely beat the crap out of her.

The interview is rather touching because Rihanna obviously really loved Brown and now she can’t be with him because she's embarrassed to be with someone who could hurt her so badly. In this segment of the interview, Rihanna told Diane Sawyer about the actual attack.

"There was no person when I looked at him," Rihanna said. "He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank."

Rihanna said that the fight had started over a text message Brown had recieved from another woman. Rihanna claimed that she wouldn't drop it. Then Brown began beating her. During the beating, Rihanna she had no idea how it would end.

"That's all I kept thinking the whole time, 'When is it going to stop? When is it going to stop?'"

For his assault on Rihanna, Brown was sentenced to five years' probation, six months of community service and a year of domestic violence counseling. Rihanna said that even though she went back to Brown after the incident, her main reason for ending things with him was because she knew she had to set an example to young girls. She said that she become blinded by love, but then she said, "Eff love."

On last night's episode of The Real Housewives, professional squatter Lynne Curtin wanted to bring the girls together and bring attention to her jewelry line. However, Lynne's cheesy "cuff" jewelry was put on the back burner due to the drama between Gretchen and Tamra, who started arguing across the dinner table calling each other “hooker” and “whore." Tamra, of course, referenced the scandalous pictures and accused Gretchen of preying on old men. Gretchen's much older fiance recently died of cancer, leaving Gretchen a cool $2.5 million.

Host Conan O'Brien started the evening off by calling Johnston a douche. Then Shatner showed up and read Johnston's apparent Tweets which include "Anyone know where I can get some weed?" and "What's the deal with the taxi drivers not speaking English, is there a law against it?" However, Johnston's lawyer is saying that those were in fact, not the musings of Johnston and is demanding a retraction from NBC.

Levi's lawyer Rex Butler told TMZ that the Twitter page is NOT Levi's and that, "We are in the process of dealing with Twitter first. I think they have an obligation once something like this happens to make some kind of corrective measure."

Before Shatner's dramatic reading of Levi's Twitter page, Conan said: "All real. We did not make these up."

Johnston is apparently gearing up to show off his Johnson in Playgirl magazine. He also recently divulged secrets of the Palin household to Vanity Fair, telling them: "There wasn't much parenting in that house. Sarah doesn't cook, Todd doesn't cook—the kids would do it all themselves: cook, clean, do the laundry, and get ready for school. Most of the time Bristol would help her youngest sister with her homework, and I'd barbecue chicken or steak on the grill.”

Rihanna has emerged for her first interview since the very public beat down she suffered at the hands of her boyfriend at the time, Chris Brown.  Talking to Good Morning America's Diane Sawyer, Rihanna told Sawyer that she got back together with Brown because she loved him, then realized that she was setting an example for millions of young, female fans and so she broke it off with him.

"When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result into some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part," she said. "Even if Chris never hit me again, who's to say that their boyfriend won't? Who's to say that they won't kill these girls? These are young girls. I just didn't realize how much of an impact I had on these girls' lives until that happened."

"It was a wakeup call for me big time," she added. "I'll say that to any young girl who's going through domestic violence. Don't react off of love. Eff love. Come out of the situation and look at it third person and for what it really is and then make your decision. Because love is so blind."

Rihanna also told Sawyer that she was "embarrassed" that she fell in love with someone like that, saying that although she believed she is strong, she is ashamed that her abusive relationship played out in front of the world.

The full interview will air on 20/20 on Friday evening. Tomorrow on Good Morning America, a second portion of the interview will air, where Rihanna will discuss what really happened on the night of the incident.

Carrie Prejean, the dethroned Miss California who caused a stir at the Miss America Pageant when she told Perez Hilton that she had more rights that he does because she's heterosexual and he's not, now has a sex tape! Weee!

Prejean, a Republican who says she was just doing the "biblically correct" thing by speaking out against gay marriage, was suing the Miss California people for over a million bucks after they took away her crown, citing religious discrimination. However, lawyers for the pageant presented Prejean with a racy sex tape that starred Prejean and so she walked away from her lawsuit pretty fast. TMZ reports that the Pageant is paying around $100,000 to her lawyers and publicist and Prejean will make nothing in the settlement. I wonder if sex tapes are biblically correct?

It's important to note that pageant officials say that Prejean was terminated from her role as Miss California because she was not fulfilling her obligations. Prejean apparently failed to make over thirty appearances and reportedly treated pageant staff like crap. At the time, executive director Keith Lewis said that her firing had nothing to do with her religious beliefs and everything to do with broken contractual obligations.

Of the sex tape, TMZ says they obtained a copy and it was so racy, it even made them blush.

Of course, Carrie is peddling a book that will hit bookstores on Monday – however, if she really wants to make some cash, she should look into releasing that sex tape.

Full House star Jodie Sweetin (aka Stephanie Tanner) is a recovering meth addict and alcoholic. She appeared on the Today Show to sell her book, cleverly titled Unsweetened, and told Matt Lauer that she tried desperately to shake of the shackles of her squeaky clean Stephanie Tanner image. To do so, she turned to drugs and alcohol.

Sweetin told Lauer that she drank for the first time when she was 13 or 14 at a wedding. "It was the beginning of my drinking and using. I had always been looking, I guess, for that thing that made me fit in my own skin."

Sweetin then moved on to harder drugs and began using meth when she was in her 20s. She did a stint in rehab, then went touring college campuses lecturing on recovery, but she was still not sober. Lauer even alluded to the fact that she may have been high while giving her speeches, which he called an "amazing contradiction."

Sweetin has an 18-month-old daughter and has been sober for one year. In December of 2008, Sweetin's estranged husband accused her of of being an unfit mother and told the judge of an alleged incident where Sweetin drove drunk with the baby in the back seat. She lost custody and was allowed to have supervised visits with her daughter.

"I hope that she will never have to see some of the things that I did before," Sweetin said.
