Former DWTS Champ Helio Castroneves Indicted for Tax Evasion

Since his Dancing with the Stars victory, the life of Helio Castroneves has gone south. Shortly after his win, Castroneves' fiance Aliette Vazquez broke off her engagement to the race car driver after a six-year relationship. They had been engaged for a year. Now, TMZ is reporting that Castroneves has been indicted for allegedly not paying taxes on more than $5 million.

TMZ reports that Castroneves used an offshore shell company to hide his earnings from the IRS. Castroneves' sister, Katiucia Castroneves and his lawyer, Alan Miller, were also indicted.

Castroneves has been charged with Conspiracy to Defraud the U.S. and Tax Evasion.
