George Clooney Hosts Party for Barack Obama

Actor, playboy and Fabio enemy, George Clooney is hosting a fundraiser for Barack Obama and only the richest, hungriest Americans will be invited.

Tickets for the reception are going for $1,000 a-piece, and if you want a snack, you'll have to cough up an extra $10K. That's a lot of shrimp cocktail!

The event, which goes down on September 2 in Geneva, Switzerland will be split into two parts: a reception and a dinner. However, only those who hole U.S. passports are invited.

Clooney officially endorsed Obama last year by calling him a "rock star" (insert air guitar here).

“Few people in my lifetime, that I’ve heard speak made me want to get up and do something,” Clooney said of Obama.

    I thought Clooney was sterring clear of "endorsing" a presidential candidate ? Or is that for everyone else in Hollywood and not him? Now he is fundraising for him? So generous of you. But quite frankyl you are a hypocrite!
