A relatively quiet week at the box office saw Steve Carell's Get Smart take home top honors, followed by last week's leader, Kung Fu Panda.

Carell, helped along with Anne Hathaway and Alan Arkin, brings to life the latest rendition of the classic tale of secret Agent Maxwell Smart. The film, in its debut weekend grossed $39.2M.

After sitting atop the movie world last week, Jack Black's Kung Fu Panda dropped to second but still managed to bring in $21.7M. The weekend brings the films total to $156M

Rounding out the top three was The Incredible Hulk, starring Edward Norton and Liv Tyler, at $21.6M.

Mike Myers and Jessica Alba helped anchor another debut this weekend, The Love Guru, but can't be pleased with falling behind Panda and Hulk with the $14M they tallied over their first two nights in theatres.

In fifth place sits M. Night. Shyamalan's The Happening, totaling $10M on the weekend.
