The Nominees for the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards were announced this morning, with Doubt, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Frost/Nixon earning five nominations each on the film side. Interestingly, The Dark Knight got nothing aside from a best supporting actor nod for Heath Ledger. In television, In Treatment and Recount led the way, also nabbing five nods each.

Sean Penn earned a acting nod for his portrayal of gay rights activist Harvey Milk, in Milk. Meryl Streep also earned an acting nomination for her role as Sister Aloysius in Doubt.
