Last night, Hollywood got together and patted themselves on the back for a job well done. Stand out winners included Kate Winslet, who has lost five other times – as well as losing five times at the Oscars. Winslet took home two Golden Globes last night for best supporting ctress for The Reader and best actress for Revolutionary Road.

"I have a habit of not winning things," she explained breathlessly as she gathered herself on stage for her best supporting award.

As Winslet accepted her second award of the evening, she asked "Is this really happening?"

"Thank you so much. Thank you so much," she repeated.

It was also an amazing night for Slumdog Millionaire, who earned top honors at the Golden Globe Awards with best picture and best director (Danny Boyle) wins.

Mickey Rourke was genuinely surprised when he was named best actor in a drama for The Wrestler, marking a comeback for the actor, who had struggled to get back into Hollywood after destroying his career.

Rourke took the time to thank everyone who took a chance on him, including his dogs: "Sometimes when a man's alone, all he's got is his dogs and they meant the world to me."

The late Heath Ledger won for best supporting actor in The Dark Knight.

Here is the complete list of Golden Globe winners.
