It seems that fans are displeased to hear the first single released today after 15 years of waiting. In fact, the word "sucks" comes up pretty often. The title track from their much-anticipated forthcoming album was played on the radio today and according to the fan consensus, the 5-minute-long tune was not worth the wait.
It's no secret that making "Chinese Democracy" has been a nightmare for Axl Rose, who wrote in a 2006 online post, "To say the making of this album has been an unbearably long and incomprehensible journey would be an understatement."
"The release of Chinese Democracy marks a historic moment in rock n' roll," co-managers Irving Azoff and Andy Gould said in a statement. "We're launching with a monumental campaign developed by Gary Arnold and the Best Buy team that matches the groundbreaking sound of the album itself. Guns N' Roses fans have every reason to celebrate, for this is only the beginning."

This song rocks. Part of the problem is that people want to dance to the oldies.
Guns 'N Roses is 20+ years older than AFD, get with the program. Music changes, just like fashion and clothes.
You can only complain about change if you are still driving the same car you had in 1987.
