Hayden Panettiere's mother, Lesley Panettiere called the police when she was struck twice in the face by Alan Panettiere.

TMZ is reporting that Alan told cops when they arrived, "I'm Alan. Yeah, I just got into an argument with my drunk wife." We're also told Alan "clearly" was under the influence. Alan was arrested on felony spousal abuse.

Reportedly, the couple had been partying earlier at Beso, Eva Longoria's restaurant. Lesley was reportedly all over Scott Reeves, Clint Eastwood's son with with flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves. According to law enforcement, Alan was pissed because allegedly he said he felt "disrespected."

Alan is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
