Attorney Todd Paris perhaps went to the law school of Barry Zuckerkorn. Paris was caught by Judge Kevin Eddinger reading Maxim magazine, which currently has The Hills hottie Heidi Montag gracing the cover.
The Salisbury Post reports that while Eddinger was hearing cases, "Paris placed a stack of case paperwork on the bench beside him and started looking at the Maxim magazine."
After holding up the magazine in front of the court, which was met with laughter, Eddinger declared that Paris was contempt. He then fined Paris $300 and slapped him with a 15 day suspended jail sentence.
Eddinger wrote in the order that Paris was among other things "…Grossly inappropriate, patently offensive, and violative of Rule 12 of the General Rules of Practice."
Eddinger then identified the magazine as "Exhibit A" for the contempt case. You be the judge… Todd Paris — disgraced attorney or courtroom hero?
