Idol Boots Alaina Whitaker, Carrico, Lushington and Yeager

Sweet Alaina Whitaker could barely sing her "Hopelessly Devoted to You" farewell song after Ryan Seacrest revealed the news that she would be among four American Idol hopefuls that would be booted off the show last night.
On the previous night, Whitaker had suffered some negative feedback for her matronly style.
"It's almost as if your grandmother prepared you for this audition. … It was all a bit pageanty for me, if I'm being honest," Simon Cowell had said.
Alexandrea Lushington was the other female to be eliminated from the competition. She had sang Chicago's "If You Leave Me Now," a song choice the judges had called, "safe." Robbie Carrico, who reportedly wears a wig, was next to go after Monday night's weak performance of "Hot Blooded."
Jason Yeager also was given the boot. He sang the Doobie Brothers' "Long Train Runnin'," which judges called karaoke, pitchy, corny, ghastly and "drunk at a party." Simon also had said, "Last week was boring, this week was awkward and ordinary."
The winning American Idol odds are now up in the Bodog Sportsbook with David Archuleta leading the pack with 6/5 odds. Place your bets, folks!
