Irony? Thy Name is Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney was given a gift. A $170,000 gift from Lexus, who sponsored his tour while McCartney in turn, helped promote their hybrid vehicle.
Unbeknownst to McCartney however, the eco-friendly private limousine was sent via air, creating a carbon footprint almost 100 times bigger than if it had been shipped.
Co2balance Director Mike Rigby told the media: "That is the equivalent of driving the car around the world six times."
A spokesperson for McCartney said that the singer will be "horrified" to learn that his vehicle was flown.
Paddy Gillett of an anti-aviation lobby group said: "For anyone to pretend that a private limousine is in any way eco-friendly is like pretending a private jet is. It's total greenwash."
