Bill Murray recently opened up about his strange and painful divorce from his wife of 11 years, Jennifer Butler Murray.

Murray said that the divorce was a very low point in his life. "That was devastating. That was the worst thing that ever happened to me in my entire life."

After the judge ruled that she would have full custody of their four children, things went from bad to worse for Bill.

"I was just dead, just broken," he said of the situation. "When you're really in love with someone and this happens, I never had anything like this happen. It's like your faith in people is destroyed because the person you trusted the most you can no longer trust at allThe person you know isn't there anymore."

Jennifer accused Bill of sex and drug addiction, abuse and abandonment. However, just months after these claims, police were called in South Carolina when neighbors witness Jennifer being physical with her children while intoxicated.
